A record number of music lovers attended the 17th annual Arizona Musicfest Young Artists Concert, held at the Pinnacle Presbyterian Church Chapel on November 16. For the first time, vocalists were added to the program. Baritone Philip Stoddard and soprano Rebecca Zaner thrilled the audience with solo and duet performances. Jennifer Chiang displayed her talents on both piano and flute. A rich array of classical favorites rounded out the program with performances by Ho Young Ahn, clarinet, and Usha Kapoor, violin. The concert concluded with performances by Karen Nguyen, piano and music by Dvorak performed by The String Quartet of the Southwest - Mjchael Shu and Carlie Brown, violins; Carolyn Snyder, viola; and Rajan Kapoor, cello.
