One hundred years ago, the people of Arizona –ranchers, farmers, families in the towns – accomplished what many thought was impossible: transforming this supposedly empty desert into the 48h State of the Union.

Similarly, some twenty years ago, a small group of dedicated music lovers dared to dream big by creating a festival where none had been before. In 2012, the dream – great music for everyone in our community – continues! If anything, it is even more important.

Today, our one true escape from the incessant noise that permeates our lives is music. We are especially rejuvenated with a live performance where we all journey together in a profound and thrilling experience. We musicians feel it as we perform and you sense it in the concert hall. Nothing is more powerful.

You, as an Impresario, provide a solid foundation for accessible masterpieces of music in Arizona by supporting the essentials: the Festival, music education, and youth performance opportunities.

Arizona Musicfest 2012 will feature six weeks of exhilarating major works by world-class guest artists and our own all-start Festival Orchestra. Without a doubt, we have become America’s Premier Winter Music Festival.

Our Youth Education Program is approaching an impressive benchmark serving 10,000 students with outstanding music-listening and performing programs. The Youth Performance Program continues to nurture gifted musicians, capping its success with the recent announcement of the first Roberta K. Pappas Scholarship Award. And, with your help, there is much more ahead!

If you have never been an Impresario, I encourage you to join this generous group of contributors. If you are a long-standing Impresario, I can’t thank you enough for your gift that allows us to continue exceptional concerts and stimulating youth programs. Music enriches all our lives and has a profound effect on future generations.

Each year, your thoughtful gift enables us to create an exceptional, unique experience, because you are the force behind “America’s Premier Winter Music Festival.” The highly respected Festival Orchestra is comprised of more than sixty musicians from the nation’s top symphonies who perform both beloved favorites and other extraordinary works, including premieres of exciting new compositions, under the baton of Maestro Robert Moody.

You make it possible to present the nation’s top artists in exclusive concerts. Stars like Andre Watts, Chris Brubeck, Bucky and John Pizzarelli, Nadja Salerno-Sonnenberg, The Fab Four, Mason Bates, Miami String Quartet, Chris Thile, and Broadway Divas have called the Arizona Musicfest stage their own.

Your Impresario membership also allows promising artists to participate in our annual Young Musicians Competition, Young Artists Concert and Young Performers Recital Series. Gifted young musicians don’t just walk into Eastman or Juilliard or onto a concert stage. They require performance opportunities to hone their skills, and we are committed to assisting them in their musical career journey.

Because of your generous financial assistance, we are also able to create and support innovative music programs for 9,000 students in six school districts. Without you, there would be no Musicfest Minutes, Musicfest Strummers, Arizona Musicfest Jazz Program, Festival Orchestra Outreach, Instrument Rental Program or classical concerts for students.

Sponsorships & Underwriting
Sponsorships and underwriting opportunities include our Festival’s Artist-in-Residence, individual Festival and 2011-2012 Season concerts, multiple programs in Youth Education and Youth Performance, a variety of parties and receptions throughout the season, valet parking at our concerts, and many other areas of interest. Matching Gifts
Matching Gifts Programs from corporations increase the impact of your generosity. You can double or triple your gift by submitting a matching gift form. If you are eligible to participate in a program, please enclose the appropriate forms when you send in your donation. We’ll do the rest!

Securities
Your financial advisor can help make arrangements to sell your selected stock and have the proceeds sent to Arizona Musicfest as your Impresario contribution. We can also recommend an advisor to assist you with the transfer.

Make Payments Over Time
For your convenience, you may have your donation charged to your credit card or deducted from your bank account, either in a one-time donation or periodically. Simply complete the applicable section of the Donor Reply Card and we’ll follow your instructions.

This Year!
